VK Company Overview: VK Mobile is a South Korean company specialising in manufacturing mobile phone terminals. It is part of the brand name VK (short for Victory Korea) which was established in 2001.
VK Mobile targets primarily domestic markets in Japan, Hong Kong, China, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, USA and Canada. The main technology to date has been CDMA and PCS but there are plans to expand into other areas.
Audio Playback: The VK CG100 does not come with an MP3 player.
Video and Picture Taking: The VK CG100 is not equipped with a camera or a video recording function.
Messaging and Internet: The VK CG100 is capable of surfing the Internet with the built in browser of the phone. Unfortunately, there is no MMS capability. On top of sending messages, the VK CG100 is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.
The VK CG100 comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.
Connectivity and Interactivity: With the CG100, you can't really do much when connecting to other devices, since it's USB capabilities are limited to nill.
