Sony Ericsson Z300a
The Sony Ericsson Z300a is a model mobile phone which is compatible with Rogers Wireless network in Canada. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 850, GSM 1800, For this phone to be able to operate on Rogers Wireless, if not purchased at the respective retailers, one must make sure this phone does not have a sim-lock and ensure it is unlocked. Additionally, if you are looking to use this cell phone on T-Mobile, AT&T or other USA GSM carriers, there may also be no carrier-specific sim-lock.. There is currently no Z300a user manual available. Although a search of the Sony Ericsson web site might yield some results. A firmware flash update is available from Sony Ericsson's web site in PDF format and new or replacement chargers are available at most stores featuring Sony Ericsson products in Canada including Wireless Source, Bell Mobility stores and Rogers Wireless locations. Sony Ericsson Review
The Z300a review is a mobile produced by Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson is a joint venture established in 2001 by the Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Corporation and the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson to make mobile phones. Both companies have ceased making their own mobile phones. The reason for this merger is to combine Sony's global consumer marketing expertise with Ericsson's technological leadership in the communications sector.
Z300a Audio Playback
The Sony Ericsson Z300a does not come with an MP3 player. This phone comes with built in polyphonic ringtones, which means you can download simple MIDI files from the Internet and upload them through your phone, or simply download them via GRPS (if GRPS is built in). We do not recommend purchasing polyphonic ringtones from pay-per-use services such as television commercials, because the Z300a is capable of receiving them as MIDI files which are common on the Internet.
Z300a Video and Picture Taking
The Sony Ericsson Z300a is not equipped with a camera or a video recording function.
Sony Ericsson Z300a Messaging and Internet Capabilities
Sony Ericsson's Z300a is capable of surfing the Internet with the built in browser of the phone. With this phone, you may also send MMS, or Multimedia Message Service. The phone is also able to use EMS, or Enhanced Message Service. On top of sending messages, the Sony Ericsson Z300a is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.
The Sony Ericsson Z300a comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.
Connectivity and Interactivity
With the Z300a, you can't really do much when connecting to other devices, since it's USB capabilities are limited to nill.
The phone is equipped with , 0.6 MB of ram . Accessories are available from several retailers stocking Sony Ericsson products.
