Sharp GX40

The Sharp GX40 is a 2005 model mobile phone which is compatible with European and Asian providers only. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800, . There is currently no GX40 user manual available. Although a search of the Sharp web site might yield some results. A firmware flash update is available from Sharp's web site in PDF format and new or replacement chargers are available at most stores featuring Sharp products in Canada including Wireless Source, Bell Mobility stores and Rogers Wireless locations. Sharp Review

The GX40 review is a mobile produced by Sharp. Sharp Corporation is a Japanese electronics manufacturer, founded in 1912. It takes its name from one of its founder's first inventions, the Ever-Ready Sharp mechanical pencil, which was invented by Tokuji Hayakawa in 1915.

The Sharp GX40 does have a camera. The Sharp GX40 can record videos and play them back.

Sharp GX40 Messaging and Internet Capabilities

Sharp's GX40 is capable of surfing the Internet with the built in browser of the phone. With this phone, you may also send MMS, or Multimedia Message Service. The phone is also able to use EMS, or Enhanced Message Service. Unfortunately, the Sharp GX40 lacks the modern ability of t9 intelligent text messaging. Without this feature, text messages take much longer to type.

The Sharp GX40 comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.

Connectivity and Interactivity

With the GX40, you can use Bluetooth, Infrared, or a USB cable to connect to and interact with other devices.
