Pantech Company Overview: Pantech Curitel is a Korean company specializing in manufacturing mobile phone terminals. It was established in 2000. Its market is mainly domestic, but Pantech Curitel also has interests in Japan, Hong Kong, China, India, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, USA, and Canada. The main technology to date has been CDMA and PCS, but there are plans to expand into other areas.

Messaging and Internet: The Pantech GX-230C is not capable of accessing the Internet, due to the limitations of GPRS access. Unfortunately, there is no MMS capability. Unfortunately, the Pantech GX-230C lacks the modern ability of t9 intelligent text messaging. Without this feature, text messages take much longer to type.
Connectivity and Interactivity: With the GX-230C, you can't really do much when connecting to other devices, since it's USB capabilities are limited to nill.
