Nokia 6010

The Nokia 6010 is a model mobile phone which is compatible with Rogers Wireless, Microcell Fido, Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1900, For this phone to be able to operate on Rogers Wireless or Microcell Fido, if not purchased at the respective retailers, one must make sure this phone does not have a sim-lock and ensure it is unlocked. Additionally, if you are looking to use this cell phone on T-Mobile, AT&T or other USA GSM carriers, there may also be no carrier-specific sim-lock.. There is currently no 6010 user manual available. Although a search of the Nokia web site might yield some results. A firmware flash update is available from Nokia's web site in PDF format and new or replacement chargers are available at most stores featuring Nokia products in Canada including Wireless Source, Bell Mobility stores and Rogers Wireless locations. The 6010 review is a mobile produced by Nokia. Nokia Corporation is the most prolific maker of mobile phones and thus the world's largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer. With headquarters in Keilaniemi of Espoo, Finland, Nokia is best known for its range of mobile phones. Nokia also produces mobile phone infrastructure and other telecommunications equipment for applications such as traditional voice telephony, ISDN, broadband access, professional mobile radio, voice over IP, wireless LAN, a line of digital terrestrial television receivers and satellite receivers. 6010 Audio Playback

The Nokia 6010 does not come with an MP3 player. This phone comes with built in polyphonic ringtones, which means you can download simple MIDI files from the Internet and upload them through your phone, or simply download them via GRPS (if GRPS is built in). We do not recommend purchasing polyphonic ringtones from pay-per-use services such as television commercials, because the 6010 is capable of receiving them as MIDI files which are common on the Internet.

6010 Video and Picture Taking

The Nokia 6010 is not equipped with a camera or a video recording function.

Nokia 6010 Messaging and Internet Capabilities

Nokia's 6010 is capable of surfing the Internet with the built in browser of the phone. With this phone, you may also send MMS, or Multimedia Message Service. The phone is also able to use EMS, or Enhanced Message Service. On top of sending messages, the Nokia 6010 is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.

The Nokia 6010 comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.

Connectivity and Interactivity

With the 6010, you can't really do much when connecting to other devices, since it's USB capabilities are limited to nill.

The phone is equipped with , voice commands , 0.3 MB of ram . Accessories are available from several retailers stocking Nokia products.
