The Motorola V170 is a 2005 model mobile phone which is compatible with European and Asian providers only. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800, . Motorola Review

The V170 review is a mobile produced by Motorola. Motorola started as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation in 1928. The name Motorola was adopted in 1947, but the word had been used as a trademark since the 1930s. Founder Paul Galvin came up with the name Motorola when his company started manufacturing car radios. A number of early companies making phonographs, radios, and other audio equipment in the early 20th century used the suffix "-ola", the most famous being Victrola; there was also a company that made jukeboxes called Rockola, and a film editing device called a Moviola.

The Motorola V170 does not come with an MP3 player. This phone comes with built in polyphonic ringtones, which means you can download simple MIDI files from the Internet and upload them through your phone, or simply download them via GRPS (if GRPS is built in). We do not recommend purchasing polyphonic ringtones from pay-per-use services such as television commercials, because the V170 is capable of receiving them as MIDI files which are common on the Internet.
