Motorola T191 Talkabout

The Motorola T191 Talkabout is a 2001 model mobile phone which is compatible with European and Asian providers only. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800, . There is currently no T191 Talkabout user manual available. Although a search of the Motorola web site might yield some results. A firmware flash update is available from Motorola's web site in PDF format and new or replacement chargers are available at most stores featuring Motorola products in Canada including Wireless Source, Bell Mobility stores and Rogers Wireless locations. Motorola Review

The T191 Talkabout review is a mobile produced by Motorola. Motorola started as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation in 1928. The name Motorola was adopted in 1947, but the word had been used as a trademark since the 1930s. Founder Paul Galvin came up with the name Motorola when his company started manufacturing car radios. A number of early companies making phonographs, radios, and other audio equipment in the early 20th century used the suffix "-ola", the most famous being Victrola; there was also a company that made jukeboxes called Rockola, and a film editing device called a Moviola.

The phone is also able to use EMS, or Enhanced Message Service. On top of sending messages, the Motorola T191 Talkabout is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.

The Motorola T191 Talkabout comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.

Connectivity and Interactivity

With the T191 Talkabout, you can't really do much when connecting to other devices, since it's USB capabilities are limited to nill.

At this time, this mobile phone is not compatible with any networks in Canada. This phone was not designed for use on the North American market. This mobile phone will not function on Rogers, Fido, Bell nor Telus.
