BlackBerry 7230

The BlackBerry 7230 is a 2003 model mobile phone which is compatible with Rogers Wireless and Microcell Fido. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, For this phone to be able to operate on Rogers Wireless or Microcell Fido, if not purchased at the respective retailers, one must make sure this phone does not have a sim-lock and ensure it is unlocked. Additionally, if you are looking to use this cell phone on T-Mobile, AT&T or other USA GSM carriers, there may also be no carrier-specific sim-lock.. There is currently no 7230 user manual available. Although a search of the BlackBerry web site might yield some results. A firmware flash update is available from BlackBerry's web site in PDF format and new or replacement chargers are available at most stores featuring BlackBerry products in Canada including Wireless Source, Bell Mobility stores and Rogers Wireless locations. BlackBerry Review

The 7230 review is a mobile produced by BlackBerry. The BlackBerry is a wireless handheld device introduced in 1999 which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, web browsing and other wireless information services. It was developed by Research In Motion (RIM) and delivers information over the wireless data networks of cellular telephone companies. BlackBerry made headway in the marketplace by first concentrating on e-mail. RIM currently offers BlackBerry e-mail service to non-BlackBerry devices, such as Palm Treo, through BlackBerry Connect software.

BlackBerry's 7230 is capable of surfing the Internet with the built in browser of the phone. Unfortunately, there is no MMS capability. On top of sending messages, the BlackBerry 7230 is equipped with intelligent t9 typing, which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key upto 4 times for the correct letter.

The BlackBerry 7230 comes fully equipped with a WAP browser, and additionally an HTML browser for normal web page surfing.. including support for java.

Connectivity and Interactivity

With the 7230, you can use Bluetooth, Infrared, or a USB cable to connect to and interact with other devices.

The phone is equipped with , speaker phone , 1plus16 MB of ram and QWERTYkeyboard. Accessories are available from several retailers stocking BlackBerry products.
