The Alcatel OT S853 is a 2005 model mobile phone which is compatible with Rogers Wireless and Microcell Fido. It operates on the frequencies of GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, For this phone to be able to operate on Rogers Wireless or Microcell Fido, if not purchased at the respective retailers, one must make sure this phone does not have a sim-lock and ensure it is unlocked.
