Submit an Article:

Why submit an article? Canadian Content is the perfect place to voice opinions relating to current news, Canadian society and anything that relates to Canadians. Your voice will be heard. We are syndicated by Google News, Google Canada News, Canadian Content, MSN News Beta and usually syndicate articles on our Forums.

Canadian Content is an independent source for news, weather, information, technology and searching.

News worthiness. Make sure your article is something people can relate to. Griping about how long you had to wait in traffic today isn't exactly newsworthy unless it relates to upgrading infrastructure in your city. An example would be something about Public Transit or Environmental Awareness.

Libel. Articles should be well researched and contain no false references. We will double check sources.

Angle. Try keeping your article timely to current events.

Hype. While news usually revolves around recent or current events and can sometimes create somewhat of an excitement, try avoid using exclamation marks (!) or overstating your point.

Do provide useful links. If you have some links which relate to your article, then by all means, submit them as well. If they are relevant to the story, they will be placed at the bottom of the article under a "related links" header.

Spam. Spam is what we all love to hate. While providing references to companies or organizations is a good thing in an article, try not to mention the company in every paragraph.

Double check spelling. Correct spelling and grammar is essential to quality news releases, articles and commentaries. We'll always double check the whole article for spelling errors and grammar mistakes, but try to keep up good etiquette.

Article Example. Check out a sample article. There are many examples of articles at Canadian Content Commentary.

Credits. Full credits will be included at the beginning and at the end of each article submitted. An email address forwarder@canadiancontent.net will also be provided at the end of the article.

Article Submission. You can use the following form to submit your article OR you can submit it to our editing department directly via email to:
editingroom @ canadiancontent.net

Quick Description

(Try to make your article at minimum, 5 paragraphs).

We do this to protect the privacy of our users from the uncertainties of the Internet and possible Spam.
